Technical Specialist in Azure Data and AI

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive the technical depth, accuracy, and instructional value of our training content related to Azure Data & AI.

About the Role:
  • This position involves defining and validating learning content aligned to key certification paths including DP-203, AI-102, and DP-100.
  • The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance on Azure data pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and ML/AI integration.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and reviewing labs and walkthroughs using Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, and Cognitive Services.
  • The successful candidate will translate AI/ML concepts into structured training materials.
  • Staying current with Microsoft's evolving data/AI ecosystem is also crucial.
  • A high level of quality, realism, and accuracy must be ensured across all deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep hands-on experience in:
    • Data: Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Gen2, Cosmos DB, Event Hub
    • AI: Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning Studio, Responsible AI
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in roles such as data engineer, ML engineer, AI architect, or applied data scientist.
  • Proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL, and REST APIs is required.
  • A strong grasp of AI-based application architecture, ethical AI practices, and cloud-scale data governance is essential.
  • The ability to bridge technical concepts for instructional teams and content developers is critical.

  • Experience building or validating technical training content is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, markdown, Jupyter Notebooks, or SCORM can be beneficial.
Others:
  • Prompt engineering and Azure OpenAI orchestration tool experience is desirable but not mandatory.
