Job Overview

The role of a nurse in charge involves overseeing the overall nursing care and operations within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Recording and maintaining accurate patient medical records, including vital signs and other relevant health information.
  2. Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

  7. Liaising with doctors and administrators to communicate protocol changes and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  8. Ensuring adherence to reporting and record-keeping standards, maintaining accuracy and precision in all documentation.
  9. Identifying potential issues or emergencies and responding promptly and efficiently to maintain a safe and supportive environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires individuals who possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, along with a strong understanding of healthcare policies and procedures. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
