**Job Overview**

The Deputy Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in the overall management of the lobby team within the branch, focusing on achieving excellence across service, sales, and operational functions. They report directly to the Branch Manager, who serves as the head of the branch.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • To guarantee 'First Time Right' in the account opening process by ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • To resolve customer requests effectively, closing them within stipulated timelines while addressing grievances promptly.
  • To ensure that the Lobby Team conducts the required number of knowlarity calls to customers.

**Business Development Focus**

  • To drive the sale of bank and third-party products like loans, credit cards, and personal loans, aiming to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.

**Operational Excellence**

  • Ensure adherence to operational protocols, including timely branch openings, CRL compliance, and timely account opening reconciliations.
  • Verify that transactions are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and regulations, maintaining error-free and compliant processes.
  • Strive for exceptional branch ratings during audits.
  • Drive excellence in the Branch Sales and Service Scorecard.
  • Foster talent development and grooming of the team to prepare them for higher responsibilities.

**Required Candidate Profile**

  • A graduate with 4-6 years of experience in Retail Branch banking Operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Banking products and processes.
  • Self-motivated individuals capable of pitching products effectively to clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multitasking with effective crisis management capabilities.
