Job Summary

As a seasoned IT professional, we seek an experienced Release Train Engineer to lead our Agile Release Trains. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in program management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate planning sessions for Program Increments (PIs) and system demos, ensuring seamless delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define and prioritize features aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team dependencies and risks, guaranteeing the success of large-scale Agile projects.
  • Ensure alignment of delivery objectives across technology, operations, and business teams by fostering open communication and coordination.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile maturity across teams, promoting best practices in scaling frameworks like SAFe.
  • Provide transparency into project status, metrics, and progress for senior stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the delivery process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years as a Release Train Engineer, Program Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Proven track record of successfully running large-scale Agile Release Trains (SAFe or equivalent).
  • Experience working with highly critical financial systems, preferably Murex or similar trading/risk platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, program management, and scaled delivery practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work under pressure.
