Livelihood improvement initiatives are crucial to rural development and poverty reduction.

As a Lead Livelihood Developer, you will be responsible for leading planning, implementation, and monitoring of such initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Management, Economics, Social Work, Rural Development, or related discipline from a recognized university/institution.

A minimum of 10 years' experience in livelihood, rural development, or poverty reduction programs is required.

Proven leadership in internationally funded projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement livelihood improvement strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical support to the project team.
  • Manage project staff and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
  • Establish market linkages, income generation models, and community empowerment activities.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, reporting, and financial management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of participatory approaches, gender inclusion, and sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project locations.
