Strategic Project Leader

A Strategic Project Leader is required to spearhead the development, execution, and monitoring of livelihood improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Management, Economics, Social Work, or Rural Development, coupled with at least 10 years' experience in similar programs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop project strategies, implement plans, and track progress
  • Promote collaborative leadership and provide technical guidance to the project team
  • Mentor project staff to ensure timely delivery of outcomes
  • Cultivate market linkages, income generation models, and community empowerment activities
  • Foster partnerships with government agencies, donors, and stakeholders
  • Evaluate compliance with donor guidelines, reporting requirements, and financial management practices
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Management, Economics, Social Work, or Rural Development
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in livelihood, rural development, or poverty reduction programs
  • Proven leadership in internationally funded projects
Key Skills & Attributes:
  • Exceptional project management and leadership abilities
  • Superior communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with participatory approaches, gender inclusion, and sustainability principles
  • Willingsness to travel extensively to project locations
