Airport Operations Expert

The ideal candidate for this airport operations specialist role will possess a solid understanding of the airline industry, with relevant travel experience and a certified or diploma qualification in travel and tourism.
- Key responsibilities include managing airport systems and applications for crew, ground, departure control, turn-around, baggage, and loading, as well as supporting DCS systems for reservations, passenger check-ins, and boarding.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and operating automated baggage handling systems, creating incidents/problem reports using incident management and problem management tools, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Available to work flexible shifts, including 24 x 7 rotations.
- Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office and other standard desktop applications.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly, with strong research and troubleshooting skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet stringent service level agreements.
