Job Description:

We are seeking an expert software quality assurance engineer to bring new features to life and support our products' move to modern agile methodologies and technical practices.

Project Overview:

As a seasoned quality assurance engineer specializing in automation and cutting-edge testing methodologies, you will join one of our mobile teams. You will work with the product owner and development team on acceptance criteria and test scenarios, designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and automation capabilities for all levels and types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership and responsibility for all aspects of testing design and development.
  • Designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and automation capabilities for various test levels and types (e.g., automated, regression, exploratory, etc.).
  • Creating and optimizing test frameworks and integrating them into deployment pipelines.
  • Participating in code review processes for production and test code to ensure all critical cases are covered.
  • Maintaining a quality-focused mindset and promoting best testing practices across the project.
  • Influencing and leading the team towards continuous improvement and best testing practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with software testing theory and principles.
  • Proficiency in developing test automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining existing ones.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, manual and automated.
  • Strong experience in different testing practices (from unit to load to endurance to cross-platform) integrated within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, Kibana, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Bitbucket), containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes (K8s).
  • Knowledge of UI testing, REST protocol, and microservice architecture.
  • Mobile QA Engineering requirements: Espresso, XCUITest.
  • Testrail.
  • CI/CD pipeline management tools: Bitrise, Jenkins.
  • Network analysis and debugging: Charles Proxy.
  • API testing: Postman, Rest Assured.
  • Cross-browser testing: BrowserStack.
  • Programming skills: Java, Kotlin, Swift.
  • Agile environment adaptability: Scrum methodology.
  • Autonomous work ability.
  • Effective English communication skills.
