Software Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute comprehensive test plans for software applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • To identify and report defects, recommending corrective actions and collaborating with development teams to implement fixes.
  • To maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures, results, and issues, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition of software from development to production, guaranteeing high-quality delivery.
  • To stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance testing processes and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools, with experience in agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, such as HIPAA or GDPR, and ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SQA.
