Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Vriba seeks a seasoned Senior Tester to contribute to the company's exponential growth.

  • A highly experienced and skilled Senior Tester with 8-10 years of experience in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs and collaborating with developers.
  • Manual testing experience of 5+ years.
  • RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, CICD Tools.
  • Experience in testing Cloud hosted applications and customer facing applications.
  • Prior experience in the Payments industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to create test automation for APIs, single or multiple micro services.
  • Experience in building test scripts for test automation framework.
  • In-depth understanding of SDLC.
  • Excellent technical skills including SQL, troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficiency in Nodes/JavaScript or other relevant language.
  • Extensive API test experience.
  • Application of quality management principles and practices to work with users, testers, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases/suites as well as analyzing results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defect resolution and defect burn down across all related parties.
  • Removing blocking issues to ensure progress, pace, and velocity needs are being met.
  • Managing and prioritizing functional and technical backlogs and defect burn downs effectively.
  • Performing initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source;
  • Collaboration with in-house and offshore teams.
  • Adaptability to agile development methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
