Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to prevent user churn and reactivate lapsed listeners. As our specialist in understanding why users leave, you will develop strategic plans to retain or bring them back.

This hands-on role requires an analytical problem-solver who can run experiments, analyze data, and see direct impact on the user base.

Key Responsibilities

  1. User Retention Strategies
  • Work with the data team to identify users showing signs of disengagement.
  • Directly engage with at-risk users through surveys and interviews to uncover the root causes of dissatisfaction.
  • Develop proactive campaigns triggered by at-risk behavior to re-engage users before they cancel.
User Reactivation Initiatives
  • Own Win-Back Campaigns: Architect and manage the strategy for bringing back churned subscribers.
  • Craft Irresistible Win-Back Hooks: Test a mix of compelling offers and hyper-personalized content to find the perfect reason for a listener to return.
  • Constantly A/B test offers, messaging, and channels to build a cost-effective playbook for reactivating different user cohorts.
Data Analysis & Collaboration
  • Measure What Matters: Own and report on key KPIs such as Churn Rate, Save Rate, Reactivation Rate, and ROI of campaigns.
  • Provide clear data and qualitative insights on why users leave to inform product roadmap features.
  • Partner with Core Retention to ensure seamless user experience.

  3. Hands-On Campaign Execution: Direct experience building, launching, and optimizing campaigns using marketing automation platforms.
  4. Analytically Sharp: Fluency in digging through data to find opportunities and strong proficiency with SQL and product analytics tools.
  5. Experimenter's Mindset: Design and interpret A/B tests to get clear, actionable answers.
