Role Description

As a key member of our Design & Engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) will enable you to work on some of the world's most iconic and groundbreaking structures and spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies for select projects, ensuring seamless integration with our global business area.
  • Oversee BIM work on select projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to our standards.
  • Collaborate with BIM Leadership to develop pilot projects, driving innovation and best practices.
  • Develop and supervise project staff and processes related to BIM implementation, focusing on project controls and automation.
  • Coordinate processes for complete model life cycle development and functionality, including 3D, 4D, and 5D model development and integration.
  • Review and validate construction models, including 4D/5D contractor model submittals.
  • Assist project teams by providing and formatting information from virtual models throughout the lifecycle of a project, including utilization of models and visualizations for presentations and reporting construction progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of total experience, with 10+ years in Electrical Substations (Plant) and 5+ years in UK substations (Plant).
  • Good understanding of various common data environment platforms (BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise).
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Bentley, Synchro Pro, and other tools is an added advantage.
  • Experience in managing a team of BIM modellers, international delivery, and development of 3D models for visualization and design.
  • Good collaboration skills, presentation, and communication skills.
