Job Title: Vdc Engineer

Modelyze Labs AI is seeking a skilled Vdc Engineer to join our team. As a Vdc Engineer, you will be responsible for organizing 3D design models with detailed tracking sets and mapping this organization back to schedule tasks for project schedule tracking efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize 3D design models with detailed tracking sets using Navisworks software
  • Map organization back to schedule tasks for project schedule tracking efforts
  • Work with the Modelyze Labs Product and Engineering groups to develop utilities for improving model organization efficiencies and tracking tools
  • Maintain constant communication with the Modelyze Labs BIM Manager, Product Manager, and other Modelyze Labs Team members
  • Support all aspects of the Modelyze Labs data pipeline and achieve high levels of accuracy in data organization
Requirements:
  • BS or foreign equivalent in an Architectural or Construction Digital Design Technology
  • 3-4 years of experience in managing VDC detailing work from Pre-construction through Construction phases of commercial construction
  • Proficiency in Navisworks coordination and management
  • Proficiency in BIM Design and Analysis tools like Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of construction industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Drive (Sheets)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Scheduling Software such as MS Project and Primavera P6
  • Familiarity with Slack or similar team communication and productivity platforms
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar team issue & project tracking platforms
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms such as AWS or GCP
