Principal Software Engineer for Augmented Reality Technology

Job Summary
- As a systems engineer in our XR team, you will be responsible for researching and developing mobile augmented and virtual reality enabling technology.
- A strong understanding of fundamental concepts in graphics - perspective and orthographic geometry, coordinate axes transformations, image filtering, anti-aliasing, ray-tracing, etc.
- Proficiency in graphics implementation and mapping algorithms to the GPU - knowledge of and experience developing various types of shaders.
- Programming skills in C++, Matlab/Python.
- Experience implementing graphics shaders including compute shaders either in OpenGL/DirectX/Vulkan.
- Good communication skills - writing and presentation.
- At least 8 years of industry experience if Bachelors, 6 years of industry experience if Masters, or 3 years after PhD.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is required.
- Experience in software development, testing and debugging on XR devices, mobile platforms or other embedded systems.
- Development of content on Unity, Unreal or similar platform.
- Understanding of ML concepts applied to content rendering.
- Required: Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
