Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role in Bengaluru for a Unity Developer. The Unity Developer will be responsible for mobile XR development, augmented reality (AR) development, level design, object-oriented programming (OOP), and programming. The Unity Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement immersive experiences for various clients across multiple industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design and development team to create innovative VR experiences and applications using Unity/Unreal 3D.
  • Develop and optimize VR applications for various platforms, including PC, console, and mobile devices.
  • Implement and maintain high-quality, reusable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of assets and functionality.
  • Debug, test, and resolve technical issues in VR applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest VR industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Unity/Unreal 3D development, with a focus on VR applications.
  • Strong knowledge of C# programming and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with VR development for platforms such as Oculus, HTC Vive, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for VR technology and a desire to create groundbreaking experiences.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with other game engines, such as Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or Perforce.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
