Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Build dynamic websites with Gutenberg, Kadence, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Manage large-scale content uploads, data migrations, and integrations to ensure seamless website performance.
  • Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, user-focused layouts that meet client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve site performance to maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in large-scale WordPress development is essential.
  • A strong foundation in programming languages, including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
  • Proficiency in Gutenberg, Kadence, and ACF is necessary for building dynamic websites.
  • A solid understanding of SEO and website performance optimization is crucial for driving traffic and engagement.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with WP Engine hosting, AWS, and Cloudflare can be beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is desired, or equivalent real-world experience.
