Data Engineering Role: Shaping and Scaling Our Data

">Job Overview

This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting enterprise-scale data platforms, collaborating with senior leadership, and driving cross-functional data initiatives.

  • Lead a high-performing team of data engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data systems.
  • Define technical strategy and architect enterprise-scale data platforms to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive cross-functional data initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
  • Strong expertise in architecting enterprise-scale data platforms and multi-tenant infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with data lake/warehouse solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of distributed systems, data processing frameworks, and system design.
Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
  • Familiarity with data observability tools (e.g., Monte Carlo, Great Expectations).
