Corporate Action Specialist

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Corporate Action Specialist to monitor and manage corporate actions across global positions.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure efficient scrubbing, timely notifications, accurate bookings, smooth election processes, and effective reconciliation.
  • This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to minimize operational and market risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrubbing & setup of corporate actions in operating systems (e.g., Picasso).
  • Monitoring corporate actions across reliefs and identification of eligible global positions (Settled/Pending trades, SLAB).
  • Follow-up of events' announcements, forecasts, and deadlines to ensure accurate notifications and bookings in general books and recording systems (e.g., Calypso, Power, Picasso).
  • Manage election process for voluntary events with internal teams, compile aggregated instructions, and ensure proper receipt by custodians/agents.
  • Handle all corporate action types within the team's scope.
  • Provide regular reporting to hierarchy and contribute proactively in meetings.
