Project Cost Manager

At our institution, the Projects Team plays a pivotal role in delivering world-class campus facilities through efficient project planning and execution.

• Cost Control: Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for various construction projects.
• Quantity Surveys: Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and measurement surveys for materials and works.
• Contract Management: Manage and evaluate contractor quotations, bids, and contracts to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to specifications.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor project costs and progress, identifying and reporting any cost overruns or risks promptly.
• Value Engineering: Perform value engineering exercises to optimize cost without compromising on quality and safety.
• Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including variation orders, claims, and dispute resolution in line with contractual terms.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and suppliers for seamless project delivery.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
• Reporting: Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior project staff.
