Technical Leadership Role

This position involves leading and growing a team of software engineers to build, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure products and services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical leadership, software development, and DevOps practices. They will be responsible for defining technical direction, guiding engineers in their work, and ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems.

The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, marketing, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
  • Define and maintain technical direction for software systems and infrastructure.
  • Guide engineers in building robust software applications and services.
  • Ensure best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure and data infrastructure.
  • Manage data storage solutions with MongoDB and DynamoDB.
  • Partner with Product and Business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
  • Implement processes for CI/CD, observability, incident management, and cost-optimized cloud operations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
  • Strong technical foundation in Node.js (NestJS), ReactJS, and API design (GraphQL, REST).
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling software architectures.
  • Familiarity with third-party integrations and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
  • Knowledge of working with MongoDB, DynamoDB, and distributed data systems.
  • Expertise with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices in CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
