Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of financial systems. As a staff software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that drive business growth and innovation.

Your primary focus will be on architecting and developing platforms for financial data, providing technical structure to teams, and working closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps. You will also manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise, mentor and train other team members, and write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

In addition, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter, engage with upstream teams, and enforce SLAs for data availability and quality.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience in architecting big data systems around technologies like Apache Spark and Hive
  • Ability to uplevel junior engineers via processes and set a high bar for them to follow
  • Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together
  • Experience working on integrating with NetSuite APIs
  • Experience working on developing financial tools - Reconciliation, Ledgers, Balance matching
  • Experience working on transforming business/product data to accounting/financial domain
  • Experience working in integrating banking partners or have a knowledge of bank statements (API based, file based, SWIFT)

  • Experience working with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advance SQL
  • Experience of working with finance and accounting teams
  • Experience in performance tuning of big data systems
  • Experience working with Kyriba integration
