Job Title: Senior Legal Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Executive to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in reviewing and negotiating contracts across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and EU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contracts for customer and vendor agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, order forms, SOWs, marketing and event agreements, partner agreements, and related commercial contracts.
  • Provide expert legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with the team to attend customer and vendor negotiation calls.
  • Handle data privacy matters, including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses, and staying current with global regulatory developments.
  • Review contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction.
  • Draft and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.

Requirements:

  • Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT / software industry.
  • Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT / software industry-specific contracts such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
