Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and risk management, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions by developing risk-based approaches to transaction testing.

You will analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and gaps in reported values, and design comprehensive test plans to validate data feeding into regulatory reports.

Our Risk Analyst will contribute to detailed transaction testing across various card products and systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop risk-based approaches to determine prioritization and cadence of reviews for transaction testing of regulatory reports.
  2. Analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and gaps in reported values.
  3. Design comprehensive test plans to validate data feeding into regulatory reports.
  4. Implement transaction testing across regulatory reports to further validate accuracy and completeness of reported values.
  5. Prepare and report updates on transaction testing and identified data risks to senior management.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or other related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience in regulatory reporting team, audit, compliance or risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Knowledge of database systems.
