Investment Risk Manager

We are seeking a skilled Investment Risk Manager to oversee the management of investment risks. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks within our portfolio.

  • The ideal candidate will analyze potential risks and evaluate investment portfolios to assess exposure to various risk factors.
  • They will implement risk mitigation strategies and support the implementation of risk limits in systems.
  • Collaboration with the investment team is crucial to ensure risk considerations are incorporated into portfolio decisions.
  • The selected candidate will prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Development of risk models and stress-testing scenarios to measure potential impacts on the portfolio is also essential.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA are highly desirable).
  • 7-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
