We are seeking a highly skilled Breakwater Specialist to join our team and take on the challenge of designing and constructing innovative breakwater systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and extensive experience in coastal and marine infrastructure projects. They will lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.

To succeed in this role, you will need to apply your expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems. You will also be responsible for overseeing port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the project's smooth execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Able to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.
