Project Director Role

The role of Project Director is responsible for leading the delivery of projects across multiple business units. This position ensures effective management of resources, schedules, and quality standards while adhering to global project management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to define scope, allocate resources, establish timelines, and set communication and testing strategies.
  • Management of a portfolio of complex initiatives from initiation to closure.
  • Progress monitoring and preparation of detailed reports on milestones, deliverables, and key metrics.
  • Development, management, and tracking of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Analysis of project economics, providing insights on cost-benefit and ROI.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Overseeing acquisition and management of project resources, materials, and tools.
  • Delivery of progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and executive presentations.
  • Driving process improvements and promoting efficiency, automation, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7+ years of core project management experience in cross-functional environments.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and portfolios successfully.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Skilled in influencing and gaining buy-in from executives, stakeholders, and peers.
  • Information Technology knowledge is required in advanced level.
  • Mandatory certification: PMP (Project Management Professional).
