Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Application Project Lead to spearhead our application team's efforts in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance. This individual will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams towards delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and with the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to define and refine project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Foster collaboration among software developers, designers, QA engineers, business analysts, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies to drive efficient delivery.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying and addressing project issues, resolving bottlenecks, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members, promoting skill development and growth.
  • Maintain open communication with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates, escalating issues as necessary, and managing expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, IT governance, data security, and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to guarantee user adoption, training, and a smooth transition of applications.
  • Promote comprehensive documentation, including project plans, requirements, design specs, and post-project reviews.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience managing large-scale application development and deployment projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies, and project management best practices.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in project management tools such as MS CRM 365, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, integration, and cloud platforms (Azure, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage project risks and issues proactively.
