Database Professional

A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced Database Developer to join our organization.

  • Proven experience with MySQL Enterprise Versions and ability to perform upgrades and apply patches is required.
  • Mastery of migration from MySQL to MariaDB and vice-versa is essential.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting skills for MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM) are necessary.
  • Familiarity with MySQL Enterprise backups and logical backups (mysqldump/mysqlpump) is expected.
  • Expertise in InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations and troubleshooting, as well as MySQL Enterprise Audit, Encryption, and keyring is required.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source HA tools like keepalived/tungstun is preferred.
  • Collaboration with a team to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolving MySQL Performance Issues is crucial.
  • Extensive exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to provide solutions and troubleshoot issues is desired.

Additional requirements include:

  • Detailed knowledge of MariaDB and NoSQL databases is beneficial.
  • A good understanding of data management, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring, is essential.
  • The ability to ensure all database programs meet organizational and performance requirements is critical.
  • User management, space management, and shell scripting skills are necessary.
  • CLOSE coordination and planning with Client and Project sub-teams is vital.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with foreign clients are required.
