Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Release Manager to lead the quality and timely release of our products.

The ideal candidate will drive the quality assurance and release management processes, defining testing procedures, implementing test automation, and certifying readiness for release to production.

This role involves working closely with the development and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software releases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Implement Comprehensive Testing Procedures: Develop and execute testing plans to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Choose and Implement Test Automation Tools and Strategies: Select and implement test automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Certify and Approve Software Readiness for Production Releases: Verify that software meets quality standards before releasing it to production.
  • Ensure Proper Jira Work Item Definitions: Collaborate with teams to ensure Jira work items include agreed-upon definitions of done (DoD) to guarantee proper text coverage.
Qualifications
  • Proven Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Release Management: Demonstrate expertise in ensuring high-quality software releases.
  • Strong Knowledge of Test Automation Tools and Methodologies: Possess a deep understanding of test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira and Other Project Management Tools: Utilize Jira and other project management tools to streamline workflows and improve collaboration.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Preferred Skills
  • Agile Methodology Experience: Leverage Agile methodologies to drive iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Atlassian Cloud Platform Experience: Utilize the Atlassian Cloud platform to streamline workflows and improve collaboration.
  • CI/CD Practices: Apply continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to ensure seamless software releases.
  • Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality software releases.
