Job Opportunity

Reliable professionals with a strong academic background in Chemical Engineering are sought after to participate in our field operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent housekeeping skills, adhering to safe operating procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement. They will be responsible for contributing towards reducing waste handling of chemicals, monitoring and controlling field equipment, coordinating with shift superintendents, and collecting and delivering samples from the field for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and Control Equipment: Ensure that field equipment is functioning as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safety Operating Procedures (SOCS).
  2. Coordinate with Shift Superintendent: Work closely with the shift superintendent panel executive to ensure seamless coordination and effective implementation of tasks.
  3. Sample Collection and Delivery: Collect and deliver samples from the field for laboratory testing, ensuring timely delivery and accurate sample collection.
  4. Report Abnormal Observations: Promptly report any abnormal observations to the shift engineer panel executive, ensuring prompt action is taken to prevent any potential issues.

Requirements:

  • B Sc or M Sc in Chemical Engineering or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
  • No prior experience required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good housekeeping.
  • Maintenance of Fire and Safety equipment in assigned area.
  • Field logbook and Low-Level Flaring (LLF) checklist management.
  • Segregation of waste.
  • Equipment health maintenance through LLF and reporting of equipment abnormalities.
