Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist to support our business functions by describing and documenting business requirements for a key application.

This role plays a crucial part in the success of our organization, ensuring that our application is aligned with our global IT strategy, policies, and relevant frameworks.

  • You will convert business requirements into a development and maintenance plan, guaranteeing a consistent solution and long-term governance of data.

To excel in this position, you will need to stay updated on vendor updates, patches, and fixes, contributing your skills and knowledge to the development and maintenance plan.

  • Work on IT architecture and design rules, introducing new functionality and proposing changes to drive business efficiency.
  • Follow up on the quality, performance, and cost efficiency of the application, maintaining records of business requirements and implementation.
  • Provide second- and third-line support when needed, as well as end-user training, user manuals, and FAQs for the application.
  • Drive testing of the application according to the defined test strategy and plan.
  • Lead the work on implementing compliance to policies, laws, and regulations, and relevant industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Documenting and maintaining business requirements and implementation records.
  • Converting business requirements into a development and maintenance plan.
  • Collaborating with other application specialists to ensure a consistent solution and long-term governance of data.
  • Providing second- and third-line support and end-user training.
  • Leading the work on implementing compliance to policies, laws, and regulations.
