Job Title: Technical Manager

Overview

Technical Managers are responsible for the design and development of Utility systems in the pharmaceutical industry. They play a key role in ensuring that these systems meet regulatory requirements and are safe for use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and preparation of Concept Documents for Clean and Black Utility systems;
  • Conversant with Utility design for pharmaceutical facilities, including OSD, OLD, OCL, and sterile processes, in compliance with various guidelines such as cGMP, WHO, ISPE, and other engineering guidelines.
  • Preparation of technical specifications for utility equipment and design layouts.
  • Creation of GA Drawings, Piping Isometrics, Support Drawings with Bill of Material, and standard P&ID's.
  • Reviewing and approval of design specifications prepared by design engineers to ensure quality of work.
  • Coordination with other engineering disciplines and project team functions to manage engineering execution and project management deliverables.
  • Identification of new vendors, consultants, etc., to fulfill project specifications and participate in tender specifications and BOQ.
  • Design detailing of all pipelines as per ASME guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech degree with 10-15 years of experience in drawing and designing Clean and Black Utility systems.
  • Good command over AutoCAD and MS Projects.
