About the Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Chief Technology Officer to join our team and contribute to our early-stage Edtech startup on a flexible basis.

Role Overview

This is a high-impact, part-time role for senior technology leaders who want to drive our 0–1 journey technology roadmap and lead the design and development of our LMS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a scalable, secure, and compliant architecture aligned with Edtech needs.
  • Evaluate and onboard the right technology stack, tools, and vendors to support our growth.
  • Build and mentor an initial tech/product team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Advise on AI/ML, personalization, and data-driven features for learner experience.
  • Align technology strategy with business goals, funding milestones, and scalability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with a proven track record of building and scaling digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with product architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, and LMS platforms, APIs, and integrations.
  • Ability to work in a fractional / part-time capacity, balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
