Mastering Geospatial Data Management

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Project Manager to lead process optimization and automation efforts within our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient workflows for large-scale geospatial data collection processes, including geocoding, transit data management, and Points of Interest (POI) collection.
The GIS Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline current processes, enhance automation, and drive operational excellence.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize geospatial data collection workflows across multiple products.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing processes and implement automation solutions to improve data ingestion and management.
- Collaborate with GIS engineers, data analysts, and product managers to define and enforce best practices in data collection and quality assurance.
This role requires a strong understanding of large-scale data workflows, data ingestion, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience in technical project management, process optimization, or automation within data-intensive environments.
A strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams are essential for this role.
Prior experience in GIS, geospatial data processing, or location-based services is preferred. Basic programming background (Python, SQL, or scripting languages) for process automation is also beneficial.
