Job Title: Director of Technology Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our technology infrastructure team. As the Director of Technology Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our technology strategy, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software systems, and providing expert guidance on IT security and compliance.

  • About the Role:
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage large-scale hardware deployments, including procurement, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Develop and execute a future-ready hardware strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and high-quality services.
  • Maintain and improve existing IT systems, identifying areas for optimization and implementing process improvements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Hardware Deployment: Oversee large-scale hardware deployments, including procurement, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and high-quality services.
  • IT Security: Ensure robust IT security measures are in place to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for optimization and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand business objectives and develop strategies that align with them.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP.

Bonus: Previous experience in education technology or working with hardware OEMs is a plus.
