We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Engineer to lead our cloud financial management initiatives and drive operational excellence on the Azure platform.

This role involves managing Azure costs, designing secure & scalable cloud solutions, and exploring emerging technologies such as Generative AI.

The ideal candidate brings deep Azure expertise, cost optimization skills, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

About the Role
  • Azure FinOps: Manage and optimize Azure subscriptions and resources, ensuring cost efficiency and proper utilization.
  • Develop and Maintain Dashboards: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards using Azure Cost Management data and exports.
  • Implement and Manage Azure-native Dashboards: Implement and manage Azure-native dashboards (Azure Advisor, budgets, cost recommendations).
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and optimize Azure subscriptions and resources, ensuring cost efficiency and proper utilization.
  2. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards using Azure Cost Management data and exports.
  3. Implement and manage Azure-native dashboards (Azure Advisor, budgets, cost recommendations).
  4. Lead large-scale Azure migration and modernization engagements, managing end-to-end lifecycle and program governance.
  5. Define and implement cost-management strategies through monitoring, optimization, and automation of Azure services.
Desired Skills
  1. Proven track record in Azure FinOps and cost optimization.
  2. Strong expertise across Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, SQL DB, AKS, Functions, Azure OpenAI).
  3. Hands-on with Azure Cost Management, Advisor, Budgets.
  4. Proficiency in PowerShell/Python scripting for automation.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of DevOps practices and pipelines, as well as experience conducting Azure Well-Architected Framework Reviews.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years in cloud operations with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
