Job Title: Senior Consolidation Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and posting of Journals/topsides in the Consolidation tool OneStream.
  • Responsible for month-end close activities.
  • Providing support to the countries/regional leads for the quality submission of the Reporting pack.
  • Ensuring all the intercompany transactions are eliminated.
  • Collecting/creating the back-up for all the topside Journals posted.
  • Performing various checks from group reporting perspective.
  • Performing variance analysis for the given accounts and collecting commentaries from Country/R2R teams.
  • Equity, dividend, and Goodwill reconciliation from group perspective.
  • Supporting external and internal audits with supporting documentation, archive retrieval, journal walk-throughs, and other audit requirements under the supervision of the Operational Controller.
  • Maintaining internal process documentation to reflect the most up-to-date ways of work.
  • Ensuring standard operating procedures are operationalized and consistent in both content and format with expectations laid out by Global Financial Controlling.
  • Working with R2R, Intercompany, and controllers on processes and systems.
  • Providing support to internal audit for internal control or audit purposes.

About You:

A successful analyst will achieve seamless execution of Consolidation activities. S/he will have met or exceeded expectations on all Consolidation metrics and ensured Process accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • A Semi-qualified accountant (CA Inter/CMA/ACCA) with 5+ years of experience in accounting of a multinational company/Consulting Firm or A Qualified accountant with 3+ years corporate experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Hyperion or OneStream).
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts under IFRS/GAAP.
  • Advance Excel working knowledge.
  • PowerPoint Experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation: need good listening and communication skills.
