About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidation Senior Analyst to join our team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our global financial team, you will be responsible for preparing and posting journals in the OneStream tool, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial reporting processes. With a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, you will provide critical support to our countries and regional leads, ensuring seamless execution of consolidation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journals in OneStream, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting processes.
  • Responsible for month-end close activities, ensuring timely completion and quality of financial reports.
  • Provide support to countries and regional leads, ensuring seamless execution of consolidation activities.
  • Ensure all intercompany transactions are eliminated, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collect and create backups for all topside journals posted, ensuring data integrity.
  • Perform various checks from a group reporting perspective, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
  • Perform variance analysis for given accounts and collect commentaries from country/R2R teams.
  • Ensure equity, dividend, and goodwill reconciliations are accurate and complete from a group perspective.
  • Support external and internal audits with documentation, archive retrieval, and journal walkthroughs.
  • Maintain internal process documentation, reflecting the most up-to-date ways of work.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are operationalized and consistent with global financial controlling expectations.
  • Work with R2R, intercompany, and controllers on processes and systems.
  • Provide support to internal audit for internal control or audit purposes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reports and analyses. Your excellent analytical skills, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential in this role. You will also possess a strong understanding of accounting concepts under IFRS/GAAP and experience with ERP systems, particularly OneStream.

Requirements

  • A semi-qualified accountant (CA Inter/CMA/ACCA) with 5+ years of experience in accounting for a multinational company or consulting firm.
  • A qualified accountant with 3+ years of corporate experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly OneStream.
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts under IFRS/GAAP.
  • Advance Excel working knowledge.
  • PowerPoint experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
