Key Scrum Master and Business Analyst Role

A key role for a Scrum Master and Business Analyst is to facilitate Agile/Scrum best practices, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement effective Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Develop the skills of the team in Agile/Scrum principles.
  • Address impediments and create an environment that allows teams to self-organize.
  • Monitor and communicate relevant team metrics to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Team, Business, and Stakeholders to ensure a well-prepared backlog.
Business Analysis Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements effectively.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria accurately.
  • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and QA teams to deliver requirements correctly.
  • Develop process flows, data mappings, and documentation as needed to enhance performance.
  • Support initiatives for quality assurance and help define governance standards.
  • Assist in testing and validation of data solutions to meet expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience working in a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of concepts related to data warehouses, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with project management tools in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
