Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our offshore development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure high software quality across Web and API layers.

About the Role:

This is a key position in our QA team that requires a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and automation design patterns. The ideal candidate should have experience with C#, Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest, and proficiency in API testing using tools such as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient.

  • Develop and maintain automated tests using C# and Selenium
  • Ensure high software quality across Web and API layers
  • Contribute to building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Automation, using C# and Selenium
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model)
  • Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest
  • Proficiency in API testing (REST), using tools such as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries and validating data against UI/API results
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience with test reporting tools
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks like SpecFlow is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
