We are seeking a distinguished individual to serve as the Principal of our Physiotherapy Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership to ensure excellence in teaching, clinical practice, research, and professional development.

  • Academic Leadership: Develop and implement academic programs that meet University, UGC, and statutory council norms.
  • Administrative & Managerial: Oversee departmental administration, ensuring compliance with regulations, recruit and mentor faculty and staff, and manage budgets.
  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain adherence to accreditation standards, record keeping, and facilitate audits and inspections.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies, organize workshops and conferences, and engage with parents, students, and alumni.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy education, pedagogy, and healthcare trends
  • Ability to balance academics, clinical, and administrative responsibilities
  • Research-oriented mindset with publications in reputable journals

Requirements:

  • Education: MPT / Ph.D. in Physiotherapy (specialization desirable in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory)
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role
