Production Associate Role

Job Summary:

A Manufacturing Assembly Line Operator is required to operate machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, production, and delivery requirements are met while maintaining compliance with manufacturing processes and business controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
  • Report any work-related injuries or incidents.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Promote a safety-first culture by identifying and correcting hazards.
Quality Focus:
  • Follow standard work procedures and quality documentation.
  • Raise concerns to minimize cost and quality exposures.
  • Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming material.
Manufacturing Operations:
  • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products.
  • Ensure adherence to cycle times and engineering standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Assist in identifying and repairing equipment needing maintenance.
Teamwork and Communication:

Effective communication within the team and support teams is essential for success. Participate in continuous improvement activities related to quality, safety, process enhancement, material flow, and employee development.

Required training and development programs will be completed to support business objectives.

Education, Licenses & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate of completion of secondary education.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Additional Requirements Unique to this Position:

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
  • Must gain hands-on experience in HT and LV winding manufacturing processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to work in rotational shifts at the supplier location in Bangalore.
  • Strong safety, quality, production, and delivery focus.
  • Adherence to manufacturing processes and business controls.
