EssentiallySports is hiring an Editorial Team Member to join our passionate editorial team.

We are a leading sports entertainment digital media publication with 100M+ page views per month. We strive for excellence and continue to grow exponentially.

The Editorial Team has the highest authority when it comes to creating content for our millions of readers. The role involves verifying statistical data, proofreading, and enhancing content quality before publication.

We value inherent skills and talent, but also believe intent, attitude, and passion are crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.
  • Proofread articles to ensure no errors remain and check plagiarism before publication.
  • Research facts and identify incorrect claims, eliminating them immediately.
  • Publish articles in a timely fashion for priority news-based articles.
  • Mentor and guide writers to refine their quality, output, and performance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of writers in the Golf division.
  • Undertake other key duties as instructed by the Editorial Team Lead.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Leading a team of writers would be an additional asset.
