This role involves creating high-quality customer-focused content for Juniper's cutting-edge cloud services, automation, and Network Management products. Opportunities exist to lead technical documentation projects.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining customer-facing best-in-class user content. This includes producing a range of deliverables such as concepts, tasks, installation instructions, illustrations, video scripts, course modules, and more.
The ideal candidate is a persistent self-starter with strong collaborative skills who enjoys continuous learning and professional growth. They should be able to excel in a fast-paced, highly technical working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and deliver best-in-class user content for customers.
- Produce a variety of content types including concepts, tasks, installation instructions, and more.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify requirements and customer needs.
- Analyze product specifications and recommend the best documentation approach.
- Follow established style and process guidelines for consistency and completeness.
- Lead technical documentation efforts with a small team of writers.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, accurate, and easy-to-use technical content.
- 5+ years of experience in producing technical content.
- BA/BS in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related degree or comparable experience.
- Familiarity with technology concepts such as cloud computing, automation, networking, data centers, security, or other advanced software technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with network technologies and familiarity with DITA/XML authoring principles and content management concepts.
