Network Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our presales organization, you will be responsible for collaborating with customers to understand their business requirements and translating them into formal network solution requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including DC-LAN, WAN, and campus LAN. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • RFP/RFI Process: Collaborate with product teams/vendors for accurate verification, technical design vetting, and overall cost and quality.
  • Third-Party Providers: Coordinate and oversee solution components, create and freeze the Bill of Material.
  • Client Requirements: Assess, understand, and translate business requirements into formal network solution requirements.
  • Solution Strategy: Develop a convincing strategy for current, intermediate, and future modes of operations, including migration approach.
  • Network Solution Design: Design and develop end-to-end solutions to meet agreed network solution requirements, considering economic parameters and competition.
  • Due Diligence Meetings: Participate in meetings with customers to gather information on proposals/information requests and environments.
  • Pre-Sales Process: Successfully defend proposed techno-commercial solutions.
  • Proposal Documents: Prepare documents, including proposals, pricing sheets, and solution presentations against RFP's/RFI's.
  • Contractual Documents: Create Statement of Work, Resource Unit Definitions, and other documents.
  • New Data Technologies: Position new data technologies/products in relevant solution proposals.
  • Optimal Solution Design: Work with technology owners for optimal solution design in-line with overall proposed solutions.

Required Skills:

  • DC-LAN Knowledge: Tiered designs, Leaf/Spine, VXLAN, DCI, SDN-ACI/NSX
  • WAN Knowledge: SDWAN-Viptela/VeloCloud /Versa/Aruba
  • Campus LAN, Wireless, WLAN, Routing Protocols-BGP/OSPF, Switching/Tunneling communication (i.e., IPsec/VXLAN/GRE)
  • Load Balancer-F5, Network Automation with Ansible/Python/Terraform, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, BOM/BOQ creation

Technical Skills: Proficient in Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco SDA, and Cisco ACI, with ability to create Bill of Materials (BOM). Familiarity with Fortinet, Versa, HP, Juniper, and automation tools advantageous.
