As a Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating PCB libraries in accordance with organizational standards. Your expertise will include schematic capture, ensuring design correctness, executing component placement considering electrical, DFA, and DFM constraints, developing power split plans, and carrying out PCB routing with controlled impedance and length-tuning as required.

You will also handle the complete post-Gerbert process with fabrication and assembly readiness, define and calculate layer stack-ups for various board designs, work with HDI technologies including blind/buried vias and high-speed peripherals, apply DFX guidelines during design and carry out validation reviews, ensure compliance with SI/PI requirements through analysis and validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design robustness and reliability.

Key Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with leading PCB design tools (e.g., Allegro, Altium, Mentor Graphics)
  • Strong knowledge of constraints setting, routing, and post-layout checks
  • Experience with signal integrity and power integrity validation methodologies
  • Proven expertise in multi-layer PCB stack-up design and materials selection
  • Familiarity with HDI techniques, blind/buried vias, and high-speed interfaces
  • Good understanding of DFM, DFA, and DFT considerations in PCB design
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
