Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Key Responsibilities:- To ensure the effective implementation of quality and food safety guidelines and standards.
- To establish robust quality operations and systems, and to monitor their effectiveness.
- To review quality and food safety incidents and provide corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain a quality management system that meets international standards.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality policies and procedures.
- Source high-quality raw materials and packing materials.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on their quality performance.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and quality control measures.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a quality control manual.
- Provide training to employees on quality policies and procedures.
- Develop a training program to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production staff, management, and other departments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Cascade information from senior leadership down through the organization in an open, transparent way.
- Degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry or food science.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance in the food industry.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
