Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Legal & Compliance professional to drive strategic initiatives across sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), financial crime risk, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Enhance global compliance training programs beyond standard modules by identifying additional training areas aligned with business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
  • Provide expert guidance on sanctions regulations across jurisdictions, monitor regulatory developments, and translate them into actionable advisories to support business units with practical insights on sanctions-related risks.
  • Draft, review, and update policies, standards operating procedures (SOPs), and frameworks to align with evolving regulations, collaborate cross-functionally to embed compliance into operational processes, and ensure effective implementation and communication of compliance policies.
  • Lead initiatives on digital transformation in compliance, AML screening, financial crime risk, gap assessments, and third-party risk management, drive process re-engineering, automation, and change management to strengthen compliance effectiveness, and deliver high-quality reports and presentations to senior leadership.

Preferred Profile:

  • 14–15 years of progressive experience in legal compliance, risk, or regulatory advisory, preferably in consulting firms, multinational corporates, or regulatory advisory roles.
  • A strong background in policy development, compliance training, and sanctions/AML advisory is essential.
  • Leadership experience with proven ability to manage teams and excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills are required.
  • Graduates from reputable institutions preferred.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving transformation initiatives across sanctions, AML, financial crime risk, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance.
