Job Opportunity for Experienced SAP FICO ConsultantJob Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP FICO and S/4 HANA Finance modules, with hands-on experience across Implementation, Rollouts, and Support projects.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver solutions, resolve issues, and support ongoing finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work on SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
  2. Configure and support functionalities like Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), Automatic Payment Program (APP), Asset Accounting, Withholding Tax, Foreign Currency Valuation, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  3. Perform business process analysis, gather requirements, and create business blueprints.
  4. Manage integration with SD and MM modules and support cross-functional teams.
  5. Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user training.
  6. Handle month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure compliance with finance processes.
  7. Provide L2/L3 support for tickets, troubleshoot incidents, and deliver timely resolutions.
  8. Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements and new developments.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 1 Greenfield Implementation, 1 Rollout, and multiple Support projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA 1809 or later versions.
  • Proficiency in FI/CO sub-modules and integration touchpoints.
  • Hands-on experience in document splitting, new GL functionality, and data migration.
  • Exposure to Material Ledger and Actual Costing is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with clients and business users.
