Service Desk Specialist Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between teams to resolve technical issues on schedule.
  • Support various technologies including Office 365, Windows desktops and laptops, printers, network copiers, and basic LAN/WAN connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain regular updates of antivirus software.
  • Manage domain and system policies and group policies.
  • Expert knowledge on ticketing tools with ITIL framework and managing the ticketing workflow.
  • Assist in IT infrastructure projects and manage major incidents in a shift.
  • Monitor adherence to service level agreements, quality, and timelines.
  • Optimize and automate daily operations.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in voice-based service desk work in a business environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Windows OS, installation procedures, troubleshooting knowledge in Microsoft office suite).
  • Administration of user accounts and access rights.
  • Help desk profile with strong analytical, logical, and communication skills.
  • Professional attitude, drive for continuous improvement, positive attitude, and proactively providing solutions.
